AREA iRacing Announces Inaugural League Voted Council (LVC) Members

The votes are in! After an exciting election process, the AREA iRacing community has officially selected the five members who will serve on the first-ever League Voted Council (LVC). This council will play a key role in representing the voices of competitors and shaping the future of the league.

  3. Michael Kurhan – 30.6%

  4. David Wiseheart – 28.6%

  5. Jacob Bell – 22.4%

Meet the First-Ever LVC Members

Jake Nichols

Joining AREA iRacing in Season 2, Jake Nichols quickly became one of the most dominant drivers in the league. A three-time Cup Series champion (Seasons 2, 3, and 4), his racing ability and deep understanding of the league make him a trusted voice on the council. His election reflects the community’s confidence in his leadership and vision for the league's future.

Brad Slaughter Jr.

A founding member of AREA iRacing, Brad Slaughter Jr. has been a leader on and off the track. A two-time Truck Series champion (Seasons 1 and 3), he has consistently demonstrated a commitment to fair and competitive racing. His knowledge of the league’s history and structure made him a strong candidate for the LVC, and his election reinforces his standing as a key figure in the community.

Michael Kurhan

Entering the league in Season 3, Michael Kurhan has been a standout competitor, winning the Cup Series championship in Season 5. In addition to his on-track success, he was also voted the Sportsmanship Award winner in Season 5, highlighting his integrity and respect within the league. His election to the LVC ensures that a voice focused on fairness and sportsmanship will help guide AREA’s decisions moving forward.

David Wiseheart

One of the original members of AREA iRacing, David Wiseheart was the league’s first-ever Cup Series champion in Season 1. With years of experience in the league, he has remained a respected competitor and leader among his peers. His election to the LVC represents the trust that AREA’s drivers have in his experience and ability to help shape the future of the league.

Jacob Bell

The founder of AREA iRacing, Jacob Bell has been the driving force behind the league’s creation and growth. From managing league operations to securing sponsorships and fostering a competitive environment, his efforts have made AREA what it is today. His election to the LVC solidifies his continued role in shaping the league’s future.

What’s Next?

The newly elected League Voted Council will begin working with league officials to discuss improvements, rule changes, and other key decisions that impact the AREA iRacing community. The goal of the LVC is to ensure that the league remains competitive, fair, and enjoyable for all drivers.
