AREA iRacing Announces AREA 500 and Season 7 Sign-Ups

February 10th, 2025 —

The road to Season 7 of AREA iRacing officially begins now! The AREA 500 is set to kick off the AREA Cup Series season on Monday, March 3rd, 2025, at Daytona International Speedway. Before the field takes the green in the 100-lap superspeedway showdown, the Duel races on Monday, February 24th, 2025, will determine the final starting grid. This season also marks the return of single-car qualifying, setting the front row before the Duel events take place.

Sign-Ups Open This Week

As teams and drivers prepare for Season 7, TEAM SIGN-UPS and DRIVER SIGN-UPS for team drivers for the Cup, Pro, and Truck Series will officially open on Tuesday, February 11th, 2025. That same day, AREA iRacing will also unveil the full Season 7 schedule, revealing the slate of races across all three series.

DRIVER SIGN-UPS for non-chartered spots will open just a few days later on Friday, February 14th, 2025.

AREA 500 and Daytona Payouts

The AREA 500 will feature the same $250 purse as last season, with the top five finishers earning payouts:

1st Place: $100

2nd Place: $75

3rd Place: $40

4th Place: $20

5th Place: $15

The AREA Truck Series race at Daytona on Tuesday, March 4th, will have a $150 purse:

1st Place: $75

2nd Place: $40

3rd Place: $20

4th Place: $10

5th Place: $5

The AREA Pro Series race at Daytona on Thursday, March 6th, will also have a $150 purse:

1st Place: $75

2nd Place: $40

3rd Place: $20

4th Place: $10

5th Place: $5
