Virtual Racing School and AREA Partner for Season 3

September 10th, 2022 —

Once again, AREA iRacing is announcing today the addition of another partner for their upcoming third season. Virtual Racing School, also labeled as VRS, is one of the most recognized brands in all of sim racing. They have agreed to partner with AREA to help accelerate their involvement in the sim racing world. As part of the partnership, VRS will provide prizes across all three series of AREA.

However, the prizes won’t be given out to the usual suspects that you might expect.

For season three, the highest finishing non-playoff driver (13th) in the standings will be the eligible recipient for the prize in each of AREA’s three series.

In the AREA Cup Series, the reward will be a one-year Competitive subscription to VRS including access to telemetry, custom setups, and more.

For the AREA Truck Series and Lodgebox Series, VRS will give a three-month subscription including access to their telemetry, custom setups, and more.

“It’s a really big deal,” said AREA League Owner Jacob Bell. “They are one of the most successful companies that have been around sim racing for quite a while. I know their involvement with our organization can put us in a really good spot in the future.”

Virtual Racing School will also be assisting AREA with social media promotions and broadcast select races on their channels. More information regarding exact details and additional sponsors for AREA is TBD.
