All Star Race Format and Details announced

Today AREA unveiled the official details regarding next week’s first ever All Star event for the league.
The event will begin with the All Star Open race which will allow drivers who are not already pre-qualified for the event a chance to race their way into the main event. The Open race consists of three short stages where the leader at the end of each stage will transfer directly into the All Star Race. Any active AREA driver is able to come and race the Open to try and qualify into the All Star Race. The Open race will be broadcasted live on the AREA iRacing Twitch channel as well.
Following the Open race, the main event will take place and is 100 laps long. The All Star Race will pay $100 to the winner with an additional $25 reward being offered to the driver who advances the most positions in the race and has zero incidents. The additional $25 award, being called the “Brian Dixon Award” comes from the Fazekas Motorsports team which is paying homage to the clean racing nature of Elite Entertainment Cup Series driver Brian Dixon.
The track will be Atlanta Motor Speedway and the car will be the current ARCA Series vehicle. Both lobbies will be set to May 17th, 2022 in sim time at 1:00pm. The fixed setup used for both lobbies will be atlanta_quadoval.sto.
There will also be contingency decals for the event which drivers should have displayed on the ARAC Series racecars. The contingency decals are now available and can be downloaded here.
The event will take place May 17th, 2022 and can be watched live on Twitch starting at 8:30pm ET.
